One Day International Conference on Sustainable Accounting Practices through AI (ICSAPAI’25)

The Department of Accounting and Finance (Shift II), Patrician College of Arts and Science, Chennai, in collaboration with the PG Department of Commerce & Management Studies, Sahya Arts & Science College, Wandoor, Kerala, successfully organized a One Day International Conference on “Sustainable Accounting Practices through AI (ICSAPAI’25)” on 10th December 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall. The conference was conducted in hybrid mode, enabling participation from both offline and online delegates.

The conference aimed to explore the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in sustainable accounting practices, focusing on innovation, transparency, ethical reporting, and technological advancements in accounting and finance. The event provided a global academic platform for researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students to exchange knowledge and insights on AI-driven sustainability in accounting.

The conference featured eminent resource persons including Dr. Najmudeen Sulthan, Associate Director – Business Development and Strategy, BANA Medical Company, Saudi Arabia; Mr. Pandian Duraisingh, Deputy Vice President and Branch Manager, HDFC Bank, Chennai; Dr. Gowtham R, Assistant Professor, School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, Christ University, Bangalore; Dr. Shanija V, Assistant Professor, Digital University of Kerala, Trivandrum; and Dr. G. Sangeetha Yogamathan, Assistant Professor and Research Supervisor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

The sessions highlighted the integration of AI tools in accounting systems, sustainable financial reporting, data analytics, and decision-making processes. The discussions were highly informative and encouraged participants to adopt innovative and ethical accounting practices aligned with sustainability goals.

The conference witnessed active participation from faculty members, research scholars, and students from various institutions across India and abroad. The programme concluded successfully with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of the management, organizing committee members, resource persons, and participants.
