The Course imparts knowledge of fundamental concepts and theoretical propositions along with methodology by which economic ideas are framed, tested and modified. It helps in understanding the economic issues of national and international importance and realizes the dynamics behind them. It will provide an opportunity to understand how the economic policies of the government and govern mental institutions affect the common people and helps to venture into research in economics and there by contribute to the creation of knowledge.
