The Department of Bcom Finance, Sahya Arts and Science College organized its association inauguration and seminar on " An invited talk on career opportunities finance and accounting or career path to finance professional" on 10th October 2019 at 2 PM in the college auditorium.

The association named 'ZVEZDA' was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Abbas Vattoli, assistant professor of Commerce, Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur. Mr. Thomas Mathew, ( Principal) delivered the presidential address and followed by the keynote address by Dr. A. Sudhakaran, (Vice principal and HOD of the Commerce Department) and Mrs. Geetha PP (HOD of the Finance Department) welcomed all the dignitaries on the dais and also the participants to the inauguration.

The seminar session was wholly handled by Dr. Abbas Vattoli. He presented a very informative seminar on career opportunities in Finance and accounting. His session covered the opportunities in Finance which was very useful for the students and also gave them career guidance. He also gave them a brief idea of upcoming job opportunities in finance. The participants actively participated throughout the session. The session concluded by giving students a chance to clarify their doubts and queries.

Mrs. Jaseena Ibrahim, Mr. Praveen K, and Miss Kavya Sree (Assistant professors in Commerce) took their active participation in the programme. Around 100 students of the Finance Department participated in the session.
