Sahya Arts and Science College, Department of Economics in association with IQAC conducted an awareness program on soft skills for BA Economics students on January 25, 2024, at 11.00 am at the College seminar hall. The session aimed to provide students with insights into the importance of soft skills. The event commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim. KT, HOD of the Department of Economics. Mr. Shibilshad P. (Research Scholar, Department of Social Work, Central University of Kerala, Periya, Kasaragod) inaugurated the awareness program, highlighting the relevance of soft skills in career advancement and personal development. Principal Dr. (Lt Cdr) CK. Abdul Rabbi Nistar and IQAC coordinator Mr. Safarudheen M. both gave the keynote address and the awareness program was led by Mr. Shibilshad P. focused on how to develop communication and interpersonal skills. Mr. Athaf Aslam class representative of first-year BA Economics delivered the vote of thanks for their active involvement in making this awareness program a valuable and enlightening experience.
