Sahya Arts and Science College, Department of Economics in association with IQAC conducted a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for BA Economics students on January 18, 2024, at 1.30 pm at college seminar hall. The session aimed to provide students with insights into the importance of IPR. The event commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mrs. Sumayya.K, Assistant Professor Department of Economics. Mrs. Nathaksha (IQAC Co-Ordinator) inaugurated the workshop, highlighting the relevance of understanding Intellectual Property Rights. The keynote address and the workshop were led by Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim. KT HOD Department of Economics focusing on copyrights, trademarks and their applications. Mr. Mohammed Nihal class representative of first year BA Economics felicitated on the workshop. Secretary of Economics Association delivered the vote of thanks for their active involvement in making this workshop a valuable and enlightening experience.
