Sahya Arts and Science College, Department of English conducted a Literary Fest Kalopsia on 15th February 2024 at the College Auditorium. Muhammed Shahin KC gave the welcome address. The program was inaugurated by Principal, Dr Abdul Rabbi Nistar. Ashraf Dhosth, an International social and charity worker was the chief guest. KT Abdullah Kutty, Director of SASC felicitated over the session. The fest hosted a Newspaper Reading Competition for all students in S2 English classroom at 1.00 pm. The program aims to equip individuals with essential skills to navigate complex societal issues and contribute meaningfully to public discourse. Safwan and Shajil (S4 Finance), Harshin and Thameem (S4 Psychology), Shahma, Rasna, Hana and Haisam (S6 English), Shamna (S2 Psychology), Vandana(S4 English), Ajsal (S6 Finance), Shadil (S4 CA), Sama (S4 Cooperation) were the participants of the competition, Shahma, the student of S6 English won the first prize.
