The Department of Geology, in association with IQAC, conducted ‘E MATTERS: A Workshop on Email Etiquette’, on 12/02/2024, Monday, at 10:30 PM IST. The program targeted an audience consisting of 1st, 2nd and Final Year B.Sc. Geology students and aimed to educate them on the several disciplines to follow while writing E Mails. The program began with an inaugural speech by Mrs. Kadeejath Huda EC, Assistant Professor of Geology, SASC. The workshop began shortly after the inaugural speech with the presentation spearheaded by Mr. Pratyush K, Assistant Professor of Geology, SASC. The presentation described the several disciplines to follow while constructing an E Mail. After the presentation, Students were given a task where they were divided into several teams and asked to write an Email to apply for an ‘imaginary’ internship. The program concluded at 11:30 AM with highly positive responses.
