The Department of Physical Education and the College Union jointly conducted the Sahya Arts and Science College Annual Sports and Games 2025–26, titled “Revera”, on 18 December 2025.
The athletics events were organized on the same day and commenced at 10:20 a.m. with a warm and vibrant inauguration ceremony. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Vibin Das C. P., Head, Department of Physical Education. The presidential address was given by the College Principal, Dr. Sarfaraz Navas. The sports meet was formally inaugurated by Mr. E. Abdul Razak, Manager, Sahya Arts and Science College.
Speeches were delivered by Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim K. T. and Mr. Ummer Thorakkal, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Fayis, General Captain of the Students’ Union 2025–26.
A total of 20 athletic events were conducted on this athletic day without any cancellations. Events for both men and women were organized, including the 4×100 metre relay. The teachers of Sahya Arts and Science College efficiently carried out all officiating duties throughout the events.
Team Red emerged as the overall champions, securing the first position, followed by Team Yellow in second position, and Team Blue in third position. Medals and trophies for first, second, and third positions were distributed by the College Principal and faculty members.
The closing ceremony commenced at 4:30 p.m., during which the trophies for winners, runners-up, and third position were distributed by the College Principal and Mr. Ummer Thorakkal (Department of English).
