The Department of English in association with IQAC conducted a Workshop on Higher Studies in Central Universities on 23 January 2024 at 10:30 am. The workshop commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Muhammed Shahin K C, HOD, Department of English, who extended his greetings to the participants and expressed the importance of the workshop in providing valuable insights into the opportunities available for higher studies in central universities. The event was inaugurated by Dr. (Lt. Cdr.) Abdul Rabbi Nistar, the principal, Sahya Arts and Science College, Wandoor. In his inaugural speech, he highlighted the significance of pursuing higher education and the role of central universities in shaping the academic and professional future of students. Ms. Shahna Ashraf, Assistant Professor, Department of English, served as the key speaker for the workshop. Ms. Athira, Assistant Professor, Department of English, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, Mr. Shahna, and all participants for their active involvement in making the workshop a success. She emphasized the importance of such events in empowering students to make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys. Students gained valuable insights into the opportunities available, admission processes, and the unique academic environments provided by central universities.
