The Department of English successfully hosted an Inter-Department Literature Fest on 15/02/2024. The event, inaugurated by the esteemed Dr. (Lt.Cdr.) Abdul Rabbi Nistar, Principal, witnessed the presence of Mr. Ashraf Dosth, an International Social and Charity Worker, as the chief guest. Mr. K.T Abdullakkutty, Director of SAHYA Arts and Science College, added to the festivities by felicitating the programme. The event aimed to celebrate and promote literature, providing a platform for students and enthusiasts to engage in meaningful discussions and creative expressions. The fest hosted competitions like Word Fight, Spell Bee, Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Literary Quiz, Memory Challenge, News Reading. 

The first prizes in these competitions were claimed by outstanding students: Sam Thomas (S6 Psychology) for Word Fight, Anshif (S4 English) for Spell Bee, Navya (S4 Economics) for Face Painting, Shahma (S6 English) for News Reading, Vivek, and Sinan M.T (S4 English) for Literary Quiz, and Rishan and Team (S4 Finance) for Treasure Hunt.
