The Department of Geology conducted a Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on 15/01/2024, at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of Sahya Arts and Science College. Begin the programme with the warm welcome from Mrs. Kadeejath Huda EC, setting the tone for an enlightening experience. Dr. Abdul Rabbi Nistar's Inaugural Speech unfolds the significance of delving into the intricate world of Intellectual Property Rights. The torchbearer of knowledge, Mr. Riffin T Sajeev, guides students through the workshop, unveiling the myriad avenues and legal opportunities within IPR, providing a comprehensive understanding.
The workshop explained in detail what Intellectual Property Rights were, and the several avenues through which they can be implemented. The workshop also touched upon the legal opportunities of IPR in India. After the workshop, an interactive session between the speaker and the audience was held. The program ended with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ashifa Farvin, Final Year Student Representative, Department of Geology.
