Department of Chemistry conducted Ozone Day Observance 2022.Prof.Dr.V.M. Abdul Mujeeb ,Former Professor and HOD, Dept. Of Chemistry, University of Calicut, was the chief guest. After the inaugural function the resource person Prof. Dr. V. M. Abdul Mujeeb delivered a talk on the Ozone day theme : 'Global Cooperation, Protecting life on Earth'. In this talk he stressed the importance of Ozone layer, the factors which lead to it's depletion and the need of Global Cooperation for the protection of ozone layer.
