The PG Department of Psychology, organized a Community Extension Programme on Wednesday, 14th January 2026 at 10:00 AM at Ashraya Special School, Kuttiyil, Wandoor (Malappuram), Kerala.

The programme was organized with the objective of fostering social responsibility, empathy, and community engagement among students. The visit provided an opportunity for students to interact with children with special needs and understand their psychological, emotional, and social requirements.

As part of the programme, students actively participated in supportive and interactive activities, promoting inclusion, kindness, and emotional well-being. The initiative helped sensitize students to the importance of mental health awareness and inclusive practices in society.

The programme was meaningful and impactful, reinforcing the values of compassion, social commitment, and community service among the participants.
