Report on the Celebration of World Food Day
The principal of Sahya Arts and Science College, Dr. (Lt.Cdr)CK Abdu Rabbi Nistar, served as the resource person for a major World Food Day celebration held in the campus seminar hall on October 16, 2024. The purpose of the seminar was to increase understanding of sustainable agriculture, global food security, and the value of nutrition. In order to address issues related to food, Dr. Nistar underlined the importance of education and community involvement. He gave a thought-provoking talk that inspired students to become involved in supporting sustainable practices and minimizing food waste. An engaging conversation inspired attendees to work toward a more just food system as the event came to a close.
